Richmond Garden Club was formed in 1957 by a group of like minded gardeners who wanted to share their expertise on all aspects of gardening in an urban environment! Our work continues today with our educational endeavours and as we leave our mark on many beautification projects throughout Richmond.
All meetings are held at Richmond Cultural Centre, 7700 Minoru Gate, the 4th Wednesday of every month, except for July, August and December, 7pm to 9pm.
2021 Membership fees:
Single: $15 Family: $20 Key Activities: - all 2021 meetings and large gatherings have been cancelled until further notice due to coronavirus
Monthly meetings - expert speakers, door prizes, gardening advice, social interaction, parlour shows to display members's flowers, vegetables and arrangements (Zoom meetings in the interim)
Annual Mother's Day Plant Sale - held at the South Arm United Church
Tours of members' gardens
Volunteering and community projects - maintenance of Paulik Park, flower containers on Steveston boardwalk, Richmond Cultural Centre rooftop garden, YouTube gardening series in partnership with Richmond Public Library
